Job Summary:
The Service BDC Agent will act as the first point of contact for service inquiries, appointments, and customer follow-ups. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers and contributing to the success of our service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound service calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar for the service department.
- Follow-up with customers regarding service appointments, confirmations, and reminders.
- Address customer concerns and escalate complex issues to the appropriate service personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service appointments in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
- Provide customers with information related to service specials, promotions, and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist in generating reports on service department performance and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about the latest products, services, and industry trends to better assist customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or service-related industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist customers.
